Located at 701 W Broadway, Minneapolis, MN 55411, this store offers much more than just aisles of products. With its commitment to convenience, you can enjoy a range of utilities, including delivery services, wheelchair accessibility, and various payment options such as Apple Pay and Android Pay. Whether you're driving in or biking over, you’ll find ample on-site parking and bike racks to accommodate your visit.
What truly sets Cub - Minneapolis Northside apart is its vibrant deli. Customers rave about its hot and fresh offerings. For example, T.J. expresses admiration for the inspirational community-driven efforts at the store, while A.J. makes a point to highlight the delicious hot meals available, particularly praising the potato wedges. The deli’s commitment to quality ensures that you won’t just find standard supermarket fare; instead, you're treated to home-cooked flavors that make your grocery stop a joy.
However, as with any establishment, there’s room for improvement. While many customers adore the fried chicken and delightful desserts, feedback from Tawanda reminds us that the overall shopping experience could benefit from enhanced customer service and a wider selection of healthy options. Still, the allure of the fried chicken remains a strong draw for many, making this a beloved location for comfort food enthusiasts.
Moreover, customers appreciate the fresh produce available, including organic varieties that cater to diverse dietary preferences. Risa notably mentions the strong representation of Asian grocery items, including panko bread crumbs and tofu, adding to the store's appeal and versatility for those looking to explore culinary diversity without traveling far.

“ I saw your profile piece on The News with Shepard Smith tonight and wanted to tell you bravo! what you are doing is inspirational and there is too little of that in the world today. thank you so much. ”
“ I really like this Cub location. I work nearby, and I don't often think of coming here, but I'm usually happy when I do. The employees are very nice top me, and respectful, every time I'm here. Usually when I stop in it's for something hot from the deli. They do a great job of keeping food in stock, fresh, and hot. The potato wedges are particularly good, and I highly recommend then. I like being able to stop in for a hot lunch, and pick up groceries as well. Keep up the good work! :-) ”
“ This Cub and the one in New Hope off of 36th Street and Hwy 100 are my go too Cub locations. This one ALWAYS has my favorite deserts and I love their chicken. I will admit that this location could use A LOT of assistance: the staff aren't friendly, could use customer service training, the lines are horrible, their veggies are sad and there isn't a lot of options for healthy items, but if I want fried chicken or desert, this is my spot. LOL That's about all I stop by here for. I hope they don't close it. ”
“ Another favorite Cub foods! This one is near where I live, well organized, and well lit. The deli is fabulous, lots of fabulous items, somebody already mentioned the fried chicken, which is excellent! As with all Cub foods the produce is very fresh and there are organic kinds available also. Love the Asian grocery section, too.... it's so nice that they carry Japanese rice, bread crumbs (PANKO), and also rice crackers! I love that they carry tofu also! I don't have to make a trip to United Noodles (the big Asian grocery store in town) that much thanks to Cub! Thank you! ”
